okay, so tonite i am printing off information about some jobs for which i want to apply. the printer runs out of paper. i load somemore and then turn it on to b/w only.

the job turns and turns and turns. i go to the loo. still not done when i return. finally, the paper spits out from the printer and i pick it up.

[img]/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] jeezazpeez ... it is a black and white copy of a photo i took two plus years ago at lake tahoe. i always loved that photo and had it as my screensaver. UNTIL, UNTIL, UNTIL ... i got a new cpu.

i so regretted never printing that picture out.

so, why would this print out after this many years from a new cpu and a third generation printer?

someone make sense of this, if possible. i am already done in by my personal duppy in this house.

Based on the above info that photo shouldnt have printed. Do you use this printer all the time or does it just sit idle 24/7? I suppose its possible that the photo was jammed in a buffer somewhere but I really doubt it (how long ago did you upgrade?). Sounds to me like either you missed a step above or something freaky just happened.

Hey Bink! You did not give the printer name or model number? I am assuming this printer is one of those stand alone photo printer? Also that it is at least 2 years old and did not get replaced with the CPU unit?

nah, J Kid ... the printer is your standard Epson printer, scanner, copier and it is only about 3 months old.

the computer itself is approx one year old.

nanook, i think you are right. the person who owned this house prior to me died in the house! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] there has been weird stuff happening over the past 3 years or so.

most of it i just blew off ... this one is too freaking weird. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
