How do I erase from search bar?

I'm trying to find a job for my friend at work, and have tried to erase the website so my employers don't think it is me that's looking for another job. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

How can I erase the site from the search column? [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70390-shhh.gif[/img]

then click each of these buttons:

1. Delete Cookies
2. Delete Files (it only clears your temp files so don't worry)

and

3. CLEAR HISTORY

i don't think you can erase just ONE thing from the search history bar - maybe J-Kid can come tell we that trick, if it exists

this will erase everything in the search bar, any cookies on your system that were put there from websites that have been visited, the history folder also, and the temporary files - but only from Temp folders, it will not remove anything your company has put on the machine in any regular folders or files

I do this probably 50 times a day - every single time i go on the web, cause it covers most of my tracks [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] (not all, but the upfront ones anyway)

if you have passwords saved for certain log-ins, skip the 'clear cookies' button, cause that will remove your auto-complete passwords. there is a way to clear a single cookie, (or a few selected ones) but its a bit of a PITA so if you need to know that one, i'll go through the steps when you ready -

Leaving out the childcare websites. you can go into history and delete the item..just click on it and press delete


same thign can eb done for the google search memory
