Okay, so one of my PS2 games was scratched to hell, and it wouldn't play at all, and i remembered someone on a forum sometime mentioned toothpaste could fix them, when i read it (this was a while back) i thought he was trying to get people to do it for a laugh, but i thought 'what have i got to lose?' so i tried it, here is what i did.
1. Take your CD, get a cloth ready (Make sure its not too rough) and get some toothpaste (I used aquafresh, but it probably won't matter).
2. Put about one and a half of the amount of toothpaste you would put on your toothbrush on the underside of the disc.
3. Rub it all over the disc with the cloth, so it is evenly spread, it should rub in so you can't see much white.
4. Leave for around 5 minutes, then use a wet cloth to wash the disc, then dry it.
5. Play your DVD/CD/Game and it should work fine!
(It may work by rubbing small amounts of toothpaste onto the scratched areas, but what i did above worked fine)
