Re: IE 7 Help
Hmm not a lot of info to go on. Here's what I'd do:
1) Reboot computer and try again.
2) Hit Microsoft update site and check for updates for OS or IE7.
3) Pull up a dos prompt and ping out to test latency, ISP, and routers.
Because its IE I wouldnt try an uninstall/reinstall. One option would be a OS restore if you created a restore point prior to the IE7 install. If you can get more details maybe we can point you in a better direction but really it could be a number of things at this point.

Active X Control for what Program/Routine?
You can go to the settings to allow X7 to allow an automatic installation of any Active X that is requested by a Program wanting to use such Active X.
Now if you don't need it to navigate the Site you don't have to have it installed. You can allow each one or all the ones requested.
If you POP-UP and Phising Settings are very high you will have to direct it to what Sites you will allow Pop-Ups from.
So it is seeing the UUB Code as a Pop-Up. I just use HTML and block everything else, so I have no problems.
These settings are very easy to change just go to tools and you will see an arrow for Pop-up Blocker, Phishing Filter and Managing Add-Ons. The more Advanced Options can be change via the Internet Options-Advanced Arrow-Tab combination.
