Incredimail help please

I can't seem to find a setting anywhere to try to fix this, it just started happening. Might I have accidentally hit a button and made a wrong click while the arrow was pointing in my Incredimail browser?

My preview pane is blank. When I select an email to try to see a preview, Firefox automatically opens a new tab and the email displays there.

I suck at explaining things so I hope that was clear, and of course this couldn't have happened at a worse time.

All you've done is inadvertently clicked on something that changed your &quot;view&quot; settings -- cause it sounds like what's happened is that you've turned <span style="font-style: italic">off </span>'preview pane' and turned <span style="font-style: italic">on</span> the function that &quot;opens e-mail in a new window&quot;.

look uppa top of the screen and see if you can find something that says &quot;VIEW&quot;, or maybe &quot;OPTIONS&quot;, &quot;SETTINGS&quot; or &quot;USER PREFERENCES&quot; - clicking one of those options should give you a dropdown menu where you just click to change the view back to &quot;preview pane&quot;

Thanks Caf, I am not sure what happened and I am kind of worried about a virus. I did find settings for preview pane and all that, but nothing worked so I came here. First thing that happened is I get a pop up window for every single email, and the preview pane nah work.

I get a file download window with this:

NoScriptHtmlWithoutSource_Prev_7.htm Googled it and can't find nuttin)

Which I have to close. At that point an Explorer window opens and displays the message. Of course this happens when I am in the middle of burying my Dad and need the email and since I have so much other stuff going on it is frustrating me to hell and back.

I uninstalled the Incredimail and reinstalled it and it is still doing it. sniff...

I know you don't want the e-mails are popping up in a separate window - but that's doesn't mean you can't GET your e-mail, just that you can't 'preview' them. You can still get and read your e-mail, just not in 'preview' mode, right? so don't stress, just read them that way and fix it later...

Yes I could still see my emails but it drove me over the edge enough to just use my laptop for emaill for the time being until I find time to deal. And the patience and all that.

Thanks Kia...I ran McAffe several times and it finds nothing, but I still have this feeling something isn't right. One day this week the machine went unstable also, the screens were acting like how they would look if they were vibrating. I did a system restore but the email went awry before the shaky screen.

It might be time to plug in the external hard drive and get my pics before all hell breaks loose.
