PC OR DUST COLLECTOR

I haven't open my pc for years now and inside look like the inside of a vacuum cleaner.

What kind method of cleaning can I use to get all these dust
out this machine. Its really a mess on the inside.

Go get a can of compressed air from any electronics store(DO NOT SHAKE IT UP) and spray the inerds of your PC. You'll be surprised how much dust comes out. You don't have to get the nozzle too close to any of the components. A few inches away will do just fine.

If possible you may want to do this outside as the dust that comes out will just blow around inside your house.

He may want to use a vacuuem cleaner first, to minimize the dust flair-up, if it is as bad inside the PC as he says.

Nope!
Use a vacuum cleaner. Turn it on low if you can or stick your finger part way over the hole, so you don't suck up the delicate electronics. Do it when it has been off for a while. Make sure you get the fans as well.
