[color:#6600CC][/color] I've been hearing that Ipods are the best for so long. A friend actually told me I was so behind the times with no having an ipod. Well my boss gave me one for xmas, teaching me how to download music from their laptop. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif[/img]

She had to buy the adapter for my car so I can use it from my casette player. I have 45 songs so far, when I went to play the ipod in my car it sounds muffled. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif[/img] If I didn't already know what the words were I would really be lost. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

Now speaking to my techy friend who told me I was so behind, he tells me that he has bought some device that plugs directly into the cigerette lighter. This will make the ipod nice and clear, forget Apple"s casette adapter. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70400-talktohand.gif[/img]


Fine, I tried listening to the music with the ear plugs "which I don't like anyway" Lord, the darn ear plugs keep coming out and almost landed in the dish water. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img]


Then to top that off my boss told me I could buy a "Home" station for it. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek2.gif[/img] I don't need another music device in my house every room has music.

Boopie you have to adjust the volume on your iPod first to increase the volume on the radio. After that, you can then adjust the radio volume knob to your liking. Too little volume from the iPod will make it sound low on the radio, and too much volume will over-drive the cassette adapter / pick-up head, giving you distortion.

What your friend is talking about is an FM transmitter, some of those have their own set of issues too, in terms of reception. The Boopie, iPod named ones are over-priced, and you don't really have to use their brand named ones anyway.
