Re: Boost
I’ve had it up to here with these cell fone companies.
Much like the cable companies, utility companies, banks, etc etc – they have every angle figured out – down to the penny. They try & make it seem like you’re saving something but you’re not. Not really. You can’t win.

Re: Boost
I asked a friend of mine how much her cell fone bill was a month - $250! Damn! That’s OVER $3000 a year!
That’s before taxes and fees on an unlimited family plan for her and her kids. Extra line per month fee, data plan charge, unlimited text charge, data use charge, blah blah blah – GIMME A BREAK!
Am I crazy – aint that a lotta of money?
$250+ a month saved up could go a long way, don’t it? Food on the table – emergency fund – college fund – pay down extra principle ...
Hubby and I have an AT&T family plan. He’s a talker and text person, big time. I’m not.
I don’t text. I don’t use my cell fone other than to talk, so I have no web enabled on it. My husband HAS to have unlimited talk and text. He acts like he’ll be struck blind if he doesn’t have unlimited everything. But the family plan, which is supposed to be saving people money, is really just another cash cow, in a different form – the way *I* look at it.
I have 2 cell phones – a work required issued Iphone 4 and personal cell, an old samsung flip non smart fone. They don’t even make it anymore. Works fine tho. Never had a prob with it.

Re: Boost
I really want to dial our cell bill back. Hubby is thinking of leaving the plan and going to Boost. I’ve never heard of it ‘til he brought it up. It’s $50 FLAT, TOTAL, FINAL. Includes all fees, taxes, blah blah blah. Unlimited talk and text for $50.
If we go this route, it’s make our bill for cell fone drop to $90 per mth. Total.
Woonu tink?
Anybody use, or know of someone who use these type plans? Boost – Straight Talk? etc ...

no texting age kids in the house I surmise.
kids today text not talk and if you are a parent once the kid reaches middle school age they are out and about more and you the parent will text to reach them cause dem noh use the dialing part of the celliePay phones are virtually obsolete
