I have/had a motorola v551 flip phone and it has ceased to function properly. It is a flip phone and now when you flip it open it does not come on like it should, I have to poke this little hole to make it work.....so here is my problem, I qualify for an upgrade through my service provide (Rogers)and I am looking for some advice on which phone works better has less problems etc...

Hmm Try removing the battery and then plug it back in, this will force the phone to reboot. Not sure what ya did to the flip, nor what you mean by 'poke this little hole to make it work' (is it a reset switch?).

I've had my motorola E815 for over a year now and I've been really happy with its function and features but it really depends on what you want to use your phone for (and by now the 815 should be cheap). I wanted email, mp3, camera, and web surfing built into my phone so I bought the 815. What kinds of things do you want to do with your phone? How much did you want to spend?
