for Norton 360??
am changing my internet service, and at the new one (thru my phone co.)
the 2nd operator I spoke with signed me up for a service to 'tune up ' my pc, and said I needed to remove Kaspersky, and down load Norton 360--the protection they use w/ their system(the first operator never mentioned all that!)
I dont know much about either. the Kaspersky replaced a Norton system,among other things,and . I wonder if it s a reasonable move. .. theres a hundred days left on it, but the Norton is free for a year. help??

Both are very good products so it is a matter of comfortability (IMO, you cannot go wrong with either). However, if your stick provider works "only" with Norton 360, you may want to stick with that in the event you have to call them for support.

"both are very good..." is good enough for me. Thanks! just needed a 2nd opinion--yeah, I get the sense in goin w/ the system they use--was edgy over the fact that one operator mentioned it and the other didnt. Thanks again

Norton 360 has some quirks. Trying to disable some of the items in it to get something to work is a RPITA. In some cases, depending on the pc, even when you think it is completely disabled, the pos still running. Only un-installing it works. IMHO, Kapersky is better and uses less of the pc resources...meaning your pc runs faster with Kapersky, than with Norton 360. Do you have to use what they recommend? Nope. You do have a choice.
