ok...bought this car last summer because I liked the way the bored out 289 engine sounded.....and wouldn't ya know it, it has become the first major part to get eliminated (besides the back seat)
So here's the car as it looked when we duct taped it together for the journey down to our new home in New Mexico.

then, of course, when we got here, I had to add the way past legal tinted windows....

...then I met some other guys who could help me....

...and now have this thing sitting in a crate in the shop, waiting for a transmission to mate with.

meanwhile I'm rounding up parts:
tires- (backs:275/40 on 17x9.5) on Shelby (Torqthrust-D type) rims...subframe connectors and torque boxes, rack and pinion steering to replace the "box", 13" disc brakes and power assist unit, headers, and pipes for side-port exits through body in front of rear wheels, fiberglass front fenders, hood, and bumpers ....etc, so on an soforth....not to menshun a heater and fan for LB. Beyond that, there's a lot of stuff that will get fabricated...especially on the front end.
