Car hits a heard of Buffalo, who wins?

Montana resident Maureen Edgerton recently had a close encounter of her own and was lucky to walk away. Instead of a 200-pound deer, she ran into a heard of bison that was migrating across the road. Adult bison weigh 1,000 to 2,000 pounds, but somehow Edgerton walked away relatively unscathed. Not so lucky was her 2007 Ford Fusion or several of the Bison, all of which were write-offs. In spite of the damage to the front of the car, the roof remained intact and the engine was still running afterward. Needless to say, Edgerton is replacing the car with another Fusion............

Actually Doc, the car shegged up 7 buffaloes. Killed four instantly, and three others had to be euthanized later due to severe injuries. Dat may hav been omitted due to Peter an dem animal rights people deh. Yuh kno how dem stay already. Dem put animal life fus ova human life.

I don't like PETA but that's a grossly unfair characterization of PETA. I doubt PETA would have commented on the outcome, if anything they would be worried about why the Car and Buffalo found itself in the same path....!
But the real story here is modern car design and how safe cars have generally become across the various manufacturers worldwide.

</div></div>I don't think that it is so much relates to how safe the cars are made as much as the behavior of thebisins.They simply cried to jump over the car.

They also do it how they would instinctively do any obstacle they ate faced with. They wil always attempt to jump over the lowest section of an abstacle.
They attempted to jump over the <span style="font-weight: bold">lowest section of the car</span>

So since the occupant was in the cabin that is higher they remain comparatively safe.
Since any contact with the vehicle would have ben in the areas which the engine occupied.
