Rental Cars & Under 21 drivers

Does anyone know of a US based car rental company that would allow me to rent a car and have someone under the age of 21 as an authorized driver?

Enterprise usually do...but stay away from the ones at the airport...oh and they rquire paystub and proof of insurance plus charge a sizeable deposit

Nope, at least not here in Florida.

The only ones I can think of that may, is "Rent-A-Wreck, or Rent-A-Jalopy".

If I remember, their age requirement is lower, due to the fact that they rent much older cars.

I always used Enterprise when I was uder 25, because they were one of the few companies that would rent to under 25 drivers.

I know Hertz and Avis were always out of the question.
I'm not sure what the minimum age was though.

Can't you rent the car in your name and then add the person as an additional driver?

Pepper just get out the phone book and call around. Lots of no name local rental companies in your area.
