i got my first set of snows back in about 93 when i lived up north ..have never gone back...once you go that way you realize you were crazy to go without them.

we just got snow tires from Sears for the Trailblazer and it came to bout $1000 when you throw in the alignment in di mix...lucky you who got dem fi free!

trust me I choked when I saw the invocie but just smiled and said &quot;Thank you very much&quot;

RichD - you are spot on. I had no idea that the difference would be this noticeable. I am not afraid to drive anymore

that is why I said I choked when I saw the original invoice those werent the ones I picked out originally cause I wasnt gonna spend that kind of money

you shuld have seen me last night...we had a bit of freezing rain so the parking lots and traffic intersections were slick. But there was me slamming on my brakes just for fun Total control like I was on dry road

you know, it is usually the high-end SUVs and monster trucks you see in the ditches on the blizzard days around here, and not the little tercels that you would expect.

truthfully, the older I have gotten the more afraid of driving on bad winter days I have gotten. Just cause I have seen too many nasty fatal accidents

No worries, I'll be good even with the better control I just needed to not be terrifed to drive in the winter and these help along with the 4 wheel drive

Remebering something, if it were not for snow tires I would prolly be dead from an accident I had when my car bounce off a Moose. I took a bend and there was this Moose standing in the road as if it hitching a ride I had no where to swerve to, so slammed on the brake and the tires held (me think) on that slippery road. so did not get the full impact of that Moose then the car toppled and slid on its side into the ditch.

Blastid Moose cantered off on its merry way

People like mi nat even know wah name soh since as it start flurry mi wrap up unda di blanket til di snow duss clear </div></div> actually if the temp drops below about 7C (so intot he high 30's regular tires get very hard and lose a lot of their traction..you would be well served having winter tires if you live in a area where it regularly gets down to that level. it not just for driving in snow.
