It depend on the setting. when i am alone I set it on 'sport'. and it drives like a sport car. i can corner at any speed I want and the car does not lean,
when I have company i set it on soft/luxury, and it drives like a limousine
you don't feel the bumps, or potholes, whe it is on luxury.
But I feel it on 'sport' though..

.My wife has it in her car too, but she never change it. Allright Doc, what are you running around in w/ adjustable shocks (Koni/KYB) ? If it was a stock vehicle it narrows my guess down quite a bit to something German or Italian, maybe a Skyline GTR (not sure they ran those).
I run ceramic pads/Baer rotors on my 'toy' but nothing special. Yet

Just want to add a few more data points about the rotors.

One car has over 263000 miles. Rotors have never been changed. They still measure above the minimum requirements listed in the service manual. I've changed one caliper because it hung up and was dragging. That was around 230k miles.

Another vehicle has 121000 miles and 8 years old. Brake pads have never been changed. Still more than 50% life left in the pads. That vehicle has been used for towing my race car/trailer. Rotors still measure above minimum. I use this vehicle as an instructor vehicle occasionally at the track.

The race car pads last two race weekends. Those pads are Hawk Blues which are known to eat rotors. I normally change the pads at 40% life left on the pads due to heat and it also depends on the track. Some tracks are harder on brakes than others. I don't use expensive brake fluid because I don't need to. The rotors are still original, measure above minimum but are starting to show cracks and will be changed when I pick up racing again. I have spare rotors in the spares box.

So as doc seh, if you changing rotors more than once, either you getting ripped off, you mechanic screwing them up with the air wrench or your driving style need improvement.

car have 130K miles and I want to get it to 200K which is an anomaly in the area where I live where everybady change dem cyar all the while

Do not get me started on them foreign mechanics ... came home one day last week si a missed call from my friend in the miggle of the day so when mi call him him say him want Adale father to look on him work van ... so they met ... his van couldnt drive so he had some garage or the other look on it they told him he needed a starter and a bunch of other things... would have cost him over $1000 in parts and labour ... I was shocked when this man came home in less than an hour fix the problem without replacing any parts and my friend was able to return the starter since the one in the van was working just fine.

I haven't got a clue what you all talking about, what is a rotor, I guess starter is that thingy that enables the car to drive when you fire it up. apart from that I just drive the car and when there is a problem they will even send the mechanic to pickup the car and do whateva. I feel so left out when people discuss cars especially women

In layman's terms... when you put your key in the ignition and turn it the rotor engages the starter and then the starter engages the engine.

Sorry, I meant to say the solenoid engages the starter not the rotor.

I'll shut up now!
