They are not smart cars. they are the dumbest attempt at economy. In a few years after a number of crush deaths on highway, they will be banned in the US. The Mini, MG and other similar vehicles was banned once. They are now allowed, due to sacrifice for economy. Well the hybrid will fully replace them. And they will be exported to little places like Jamaica and St Kitts.

naah man it isnt a stick shift...THAT was the problem

the engine shifted gears like that all on its own

but she is used to driving a stick so she kept grabbing my leg out of habit

didn't it have an automatic and a manual mode where you could then shift (clutchless of course)

that is what I am saying. The cae was automatic and shifted that clunkily without a gear box

thank God is was only for one day cause I couldnt deal with that everyday. You dont feel protected in it at all. I dont care what they say is the safe features of the car.

And like I said, we got stuck in a restaurant parking lot after a little bit of snowfall. Imagine if this happened somewhere more remote or late at night.
I have AMA but having to rely on it to get me out of 6 inches of snow instead of putting the vehicle into 4WD and plowing thru, would get tiring
