Regular vs Premium

mi vehicle recommends using premium grade gasoline...been doing dat but premium is like 3.30 per gal here...getting really expensive to fill up yah now...

so will my vehicle suffer some horrendous death if mi put... *regular* ....inna di tank?

Lower octane gas will make your engine knock and you'll cause damage over time.
Trade in that beast and get something more practical.
No one needs a car that burns premium.

True or false:
Using regular gas in a car designed for premium will definitely damage the engine.

We don't believe that any modern engine that claims to require premium will be damaged by using regular unleaded judiciously. Neither do any of the sources we've checked with — including the American Petroleum Institute, the American Engine Rebuilders Association — even a chemist (who would rather go unnamed) at a major gasoline company.

We hav had dis debate before, and NO, using regular gas will not harm your engine. The cars are designed for regular unleaded gas usage. However, using BAD gas, too much alcohol content, or if it hav moisture inna it can seriously damage the engine. Try to stick with certain reliable gas stations., for quality gas.

SkelliOn if de manufacturer build de engine fi hi-tess fuel it's a good idea to use it, but you can drop it down every now and then.

But if yuh did buy a quality NA veekle yuh wouldn't haffee worry bout dat caz dem build de engine dem fi wukk pan 87 octane.

Hmmnn My vehicle already sey regular can use but even if it did sey HO only mi would have to reconsider the vehicle due to how gas price is no joke dese days.
