we had this exact car when i was a kid a mark IV - the biggest lemon on the planet. there was a part being replaced just about every two months.

i have to mention that our mark iv was in the colour &quot;champagne&quot; which is sort of like a slight blushing of pink or baby duck champagne colour.

if the moderator could fix my first image i would appreciate it, it seems to stretch all the way across the sea.

the first car i bought for myself was a pontiac 6000 front wheel drive and even though you could feel everything on on a regular road, when you were on the highway you could run over a small child or farm animals and not even feel it. it was that good. it had a good old choke that sometimes wouldn't open up, so i always had a clothes pin in it just in case.

i like the older model cars. . i don't remember ever being stuck in the snow in that pontiac. this was a ten year old car mind you and at the time i work up by york mills area. whenever there was a heavy snow storm, i'd see all these newer model cars spinning out, but there i was climbing that hil. that car was like a tank.

o yeh, this is champagne colour in a car.

okay i see now a 1975 vw. my weird ex-neighbour - the postman, restored one himself. painted it baby blue. it looks fantastic.
