GM Has Given Up on Canada

From five plants a few years ago down to one here in my little corner of the world. And no one would be surprised if that last remaining plant shut down soon and the production moved to Mexico.

I know enough people who will be out of work when this next layoff comes. WalMart is already full of employees who once worked for GM. I'm not sure where this new group of displaced workers are going to find work.

They were happy to take the bail out money the Canadian government gave them though!

When I worked for GM they had over 3500 ppl eligible to retire, all dese ppl had over 30 years an dem jus wouldn't leave and give de yutes a chance. Mi hope dem mek a better decision an look tuh fi wi plant as an example.

The whole bankrupt ting was a farce just suh dem could get outta contracts wid de union and suppliers. Who de devil can borrow all dat kinda money an pay it back so fast. It is unheard of. GM dats who. Pure orchestration dat and all de governments were in on it. against the working ppl as always.
