Guys who aren't done having kids might want to prop their laptops on a pillow. In a small new study, researchers collected semen from 29 men and placed it underneath laptops that were either connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi or had Wi-Fi disabled. After four hours, the Wi-Fi-subjected sperm suffered more damage than those kept away from the wireless signal. It's not just the heat: "Electromagnetic charges from the Wi-Fi may also harm sperm quality and even damage DNA," says urologist Wayland Hsiao, M.D.
