I think today shelly was a bit tired. She wasn't running as fast as she could, so compared side by side with felix, it seems like she would have won if her legs were longer but I don't think she needs longer legs. She needs more meets running the 200M. Based on her stats I don't see any 2012 events for her in the 200M.

She hasn't run much 200M races and she got her personal best time here in London of 22.09

Felix been running 200M for a long time and in the 21.__ range. So I think Shelly did well considering.

Same with Richards, her event is the 400M (and relays) she nuh usually compete in the 200M and STILL Shelly manage to leave her behind.

Jamaica will not be in contention for a 4x400 relay medal as Jermaine Gonzales pulled up injured in the third leg of the 4x400 Heat today. Gonzales had mentioned in the media that &quot;if it was up to him, he would not run in the 4x400m because of a hamstring problem&quot;. He was still selected to run over capable alternates. Bad decision to run Gonzales. It was obvious he was not 100%.

It was a bad decision. But consider a US athlete ran the same race with a broken leg. Wow.
