well, it actually committed suicide. i suppose it was jus too cold. so it took a dive an smashed itself agaisnt the pavement then into water.... [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]

i have yet to bury it but i shall do so soon enough.

in the meantime, i need a new digi cam. i had the KodakEasyShare C330. It was ur basic digital camera and it did the work - except that it was LAZY! it nuh mek sense yu try tek candid pics wid it cause by the time di pitcha tek, the moment u were tryin to capture is long gone [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70400-talktohand.gif[/img] What do u call that? shutter speed? whatever it is, that is the main complaint i had with that camera.

so anyhow, now i need a new one.

suggestions?

I wll come back in little while with a review of my new Olympus SP 320 that's just barely out of the box. I gotta play with it a little bit first. I haven't even unwrapped the manual yet.

It depends on what you are looking for in a camera, what kind of pictures you like to take. If you are seriously into taking photos, then you might want an SLR such as the Nikon D80. If you want a simple little point and shoot there are a lot of nice little cameras out there and the price has come way down.

I'd say any of the Nikon Coolpix camera's are some of the best, you can't beat a Nikon lens but I chose this Olympus for it's Macro capabilities as well as it's settings for night shooting.

There are a couple of great websites for camera shopping. Check DPrievew, on the top left of your screen is a menu of camera models, and a bounty of information for every camera there is!
