2013 Ford Escape SLE 4x4

The 2012 and 2013 models are getting rave reviews even beating out Honda CRV.

I tested the 1.6 Eco boost today and it handles like a dream. It had all the features I was looking for and then some.

What have you seen or heard about this car?

The braking system around corners, and acceleration is superior to vehicle in the same segment. I drove them all (2013).....SYNC (voice controlled phone, and entertainment) is also standard.

Yep. My 2007 Prius has all those features and back-up camera (one of my must haves).

The dashboard on the Escape is a little too much for me as I prefer simple and functional layout. But I could live with that. 4WD is my other must have - I owned a 2002 Escape (bought it used) and that was a champion during Snowmageddon three years ago

The Eco-boost feature on the 2013 Escape averages 25 mpg - way better than most in its class.

Now about that traffic warning system - it beeps and I won't be able to turn it off!

Since when is the crv a bench mark?

i will buy into that when you show me a couple with 300K on the clock without any issues. I like the styling and the features but i still not sold on the reliability.

i running my little nissan ..i jus turning 200K and mi nuh do a ting pan it yet(oddan dan oil change and brakes).

Back-Up camera is available on the 2013 Escape. I believe you can turn off the warning you speak of by going into the system settings, it is tied to Blind-Spot-Monitoring. Not sure however, why anyone would want to disable such a visual, and audible aid? It helps when you are pulling out from between cars/trucks, or behind a solid wall and cant see.

OK. Just wondering if it would alert me all the time, say, when I drive into a parking lot But let me answer my own question - it went off only once when I pull into the dealership's lot. It just won't keep beeping, right? P.S. you cannot turn this off in the system settings. If you have one on your car, have you gotten used to it?
