mi get mi madda a new laptop few weeks ago but mi cyaan get it fi hook up wid de printah servah, which is an IOGEAR, dem nuh have no vista updates. so her laptop can only print if she goes downstairs and hook it up via USB. While mi fadda cyan be anyweh wirelessly an print anyting cah him deh pan XP.

Am I correct that it is the Printa Serva dat won't recognize Vista ar is it supm else?

Mi did try an try fi find one laptop wid XP panee but there was only one and all else had blasted Vista panee.

SO wah mi haffee duh buy dem a nex printaserva???

I have vista too and I don't like it ..I really wanted the old one..

Have you gone to MS web site and updated to the latest vista patches? Also, have you done a Google search for updated drivers, or did you only visit the printer, and server web sites to get their lates vista compatible drivers?
"D", try turning off the Vista firewall temporarily and see if it connects. If that don't work try removing any printer and server drivers, and re-installing the XP driver version instead in Vista. And yes, I think the server may be the problem.

Can Mac and PC share the same network? It probably sounds like a stupid question, but I just wonder if I could have a Mac for my own computer while the rest of the house uses PCs. </span>
