That's one organization I don't support. They endorse and support sobriety check points. Giving the police the right to stop a person with no probable cause is illegal. The Constitution of the United States clearly states that police can't just stop someone and conduct an investigation unless there is probable cause.

There are more accidents from people talking and texting on smart phones etc. than there is from drunk driving.
Same results-someone is injured or killed, but seemingly normal, smart people who would not drink and drive... will talk or text while driving...Where are the mad mothers on this problem? I suppose it does not meet their agenda.

Perhaps some other group should take up that cause. Say what you want about MADD, I do believe they have greatly raised awareness and have saved countless lives.
