Ok I have a couple of games on my old PC, the idiot people keep sending me the wrong codes to transfer my games to my new pc. Now, can I hook the old pc back up and maybe put my games in an email to myself? I still have the original key numbers but it's just not helping.

Re: PC question
If you have the original CDs and the original serial numbers (or "CD keys," or "codes," or whatever), they should work. But all kinds of things can go wrong. This is usually one of the most-frequently-asked questions on any game publisher's message board - have you checked there for help?

Since you have the games on your pomputer, why dont you load it to a dvd or flash ram and then transfer it.
The size of the game packet may be too targe to be carried by the normal E/mail system. they usually have size limitation.

Re: PC question
How did it get installed on the first system without a CD? Did it come preinstalled from the factory, or some such?
Another question: what kind of computer are we talking about here? Some flavor of Windows, or Mac, or Linux, or DOS, or something else?

Re: PC question
What games are we talking about here? Most companies will not give you a replacement cd key unless you send them the original disc, then they mail you back a full copy of the game with a cd key. Really its a major pain in the rear....but from the sounds of it this isnt a big name game, sounds more like a pre-installed OS situation.
Give more info and I'll see what advice I can offer.

The games are pop cap games that you order from the internet, 1 was Bookworm and the other was Bedazzled. I didn't have any disk, yahoo online have these types of games as well. No big deal if I can't get them again but the games say lifetime.

Re: PC question
Ok that makes a lot more sense now. I just checked their site and I found these instructions for you:
Our games are sprinkled with a whirlwind of smile-inducing awesomeness and polished to a shiny sheen that keeps the world coming back again and again. And best of all, you’ll find our games on mobile, console, PC, and many other devices – you may even be able to play them on the moon!
Now the 'key' they are talking about isnt a cd key, its an order number. So make sure you are using the order number to validate the game. According to their site they also updated the registration codes so you may have to contact them if you cant get the validation to work. The link on their site for this is: http://www.popcap.com/helpform_registration.php
Note: Please temporarily disable all Popup Blockers, Personal Firewalls and Antivirus software that may be running. These tools may hinder the download and registration process. Upon completion of registration, please turn these tools back on for the safety of your computer.
If that don't get it let us know what happened and I'll see what I can do.

Re: PC question
Thanks Reby I have done this already they said they have to upgrade the new codes or whatever that means. They did send me some other numbers but it's still not working. I just sent them another email so guess we will see what happens.
Thanks again.
