I wish more people would use this .

smaddy juss send mi one fax mi cant even read the sitten. by the time it come choo from england the siteen chaka chaka like wah and squinch squinch up. Now if dem did juss save it as pdf all the text would be clear.

Cute...I have heard of Linux versions but not one for WinDoze.

Speaking of Linux, is it still making inroads on desktop PCs or is it more used on the enterprise (corporate servers, etc) end?

I am not sure about making inroads, I think the use is expanding, but not @ the expense of Micro$.
What it is finding more applications in is the aforementioned servers and Cell/PDA. I think DAP has set it back some because all of a sudden windoze$ is the best platform for the ones who want it now and Mac is no slouch because POD offshoots, even though you don't need the MacOS like would need the WidoZe and LinuxOS to interface with the device.... but you can beat the brand recognition when you say Apple IPod/Iphone/ITV

PDF writer for me, is like WD-40, or duct-tape to do-it-yourselfer.

I use it all di time. mi use it jus about everyday fi store documents.

Well, mi use several, but mostly ah dem, Adobe Acrobat PDF Writer. WinXP pro also comes wid a free wan inna ie. Ie name PDF995.

I did not know this.
I looked it up and it is built on Ghost Script, which is the Linux one that I had used a while ago.

I bought program that goes the other way it converts PDF Documents to WinWord Docs format.
