In WinXP/2000 if AutoPlay is not disabled a menu will come up and presented with @ least three choices:
Open, Play Media, Copy or Do Nothing , etc,(order may not be correct)
1. Choose open folder to view files, because it is the most flexible. 1a. Press the Ctrl and the A KEYS simultaneously (this will select all files in the drive or you can Ctrl and SELECT to add individual items to a group.)
2. From that folder you can navigate to your
My Computer 3. Open the DRIVE you wish to store the data on.
If you only have one physical HD with one Partition, it would be called C 4. In any case you can now RIGHT CLICK
Make a NEW FOLDER (it would be most unlikely that you would choose the put those files in the root of the drive, that the reason for a NEW FOLDER(s) 5. Press the F2] KEY to rename the folder to your choosing 6. Whilst the folder is highlighted or opened (safer)PRESS Ctrl and V KEYS to paste the previously grouped files into the NEW FOLDER.
You can skip 4-6 prior to inserting the CD/DVDROM you go to the drive you wish to copy the data in and make a NEW FOLDER to receive the FILES.
