Mi a guh build a new studio dis wintah, mi need security cameras whe mi cyan si what a gwaan from mi computah nuh mattah weh mi deh. And de one dem weh if dem detect an intruder it will email de vid to so many choices of my choosing.

This supplier has some good prices on camers setups:

What you want is an IP camera, if you really want to monitor remotely via the internet.

I've heard very good feedback regarding X10 products.
I saw at CompUSA they had a Linksys one that was IP based and I'm thinking about testing that one out.
It's about $200 but seems to be a good solution.

Would hate to waste $200 on faulty equipment.

If you can wait a little, there is a trade show coming to Toronto - annual thing - great opportunity to see the best available in the industry, and with features you would be looking for...
