Couldnt get the sinting to work so transferred the data the old fashioned way.. via fileshare [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img]

Kia, the transfer trouble you were having, I assume you were using the cross-over type cable, and not the straight pass-through version?

What's the trouble Kia?

I have Vista and used the same product to move files.
I didnt find it too difficult but it isnt as easy as other methods.

You might have assigned the computers backwards.
ie) remote vs transferring PC.

Maybe try it in reverse of what you did and see if that gets it going.

tried it and it was awful..

I refuse to bother with it again until next week sometime.. so I can siddung & get the programs going.

yep, it will do executables.

I move nearly everything that way.

When u are ready PM me and I can try and walk you thru it if I'm around.

Its kinda hard to know what's going wrong if I dont know each step u are doing.
