monitor tonight and now it is all screwed up. I had never played with it before so I can't tell you what i did except that now I have an inch of blank black space on the right side. Both the desktop photograph and the firefox window are over to the left some.

What did I do and how do I undo it? I do like this nice olive green framing I chose though!

Do you recall if you were changing something using the buttons on the monitor or something related to the software? Those are the two ways you can cause an issue like that.

I think it is in the resolution setting, that is when it started to act up.

Ok, sounds like an older monitor and you tried to go to a higher resolution. Minimize this window and all the others so you have the desktop showing. Then right click any empty area. (meaning an area that doesn't have an icon.) Should get a menu, then properties-&gt;settings. Move the slider for resolution to a lower setting, usually to the left. Then click apply-&gt;yes-&gt;ok.

Try dat an see how it work. There is another setting where the screen refresh rate can cause this behavior too. If de above don't work, we can check that.
