In Cuba, not only is an internet connection almost impossible to find (unless you are staying in a resort that caters mostly to foreigners) but when you do find a connection it is MUCH slower than dial-up (I never knew that was possible).

Jamaica is light years ahead in that respect.

While cell service is pretty good, things like a 3G network is not available to Cubans living on the island. Foreiners can access it but roaming charges tend to be astronomical for those visiting cuba.
