The limitation to Windows XP only could be a negative, but other than PC games portabililty, I don't see any practical difference between this and Portable Apps. The latter allows a person to do just about anything on a Windows USB enabled PC, using a thumb drive.aka ChurchDude. I want that moniker back! Until then....

CEW, I think the big difference from PortableApps is, the added flexibility, more availability of choices, and doesn't require re-learning a different software. With portable Apps, the software needs to be a tailored version, by the s/w supplier/developer, specific for thumb drives usage. With Mojo, you just install whatever you want to the USB as you usually do. This also make your normal everyday s/w available to you, without having to have it customized for use on the external drive. I agree with you though, that they both have their place in the scheme of things, one just has to decide which suit their purpose more.
