Can I make it so he can only go to a couple sites??

i am not on the windows vista pc now but basically when you create the user you have a way of stating the type of access (administrator vs regular user).. you dont want your son to be an administrator.

as for the internet... then you need the parental controls....

at my son's preschool he was using computer @ 4....suh yes.

Now that you have setup the account, go to Control Panel -> Parental Controls (change CP window to classic view to see the icons in a more user friendly way). From Parental Controls, you can set time limits, restrict sites, block programs / games, etc...

It's fairly easy.

So I set the Parental Controls up for the Pikney login, from the Admin account Control Panel?

You log yourself in (your account should be Admin), then from the Parental Control icon in the CP, you select his account and configure it [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif[/img]

No - you would have to use 3rd party software for XP.

No - you would have to use 3rd party software for XP. </div></div> It is in the 64 bit version of XP.
