Photo Printing Software

I have an HP All-In-One printer, and it came with cool software that allowed me to drag and drop pictures into templates, and print them on 8/11 photo paper. It would print 8/10's 4/6 or wallet size photos along with album page designs.

Now that I have Vista the printer works but the software doesn't [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]


I have been having a hard time finding software that I can use to print my photos... [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif[/img]

Any suggestions?? [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/helpsmilie.gif[/img]

If I am not mistaken, I think there is a way to set Vista to run a particular program in XP mode.

Right. You can do it from the executable itself or from a shortcut. You just right-click on it, choose "Properties" from the context-sensitive menu, and choose the "Compatibility" tab.

The driver came with vista... so all I had to do was plug in the printer and print...

the problem is the photo software that came on the original installation CD is not compatible with vista...

so Ramble [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70402-thinking.gif[/img]

I insert the CD, right click on the exe file from there?

</div></div> So you don't believe that if HP produced the original software, they would realize that they need to produce an updated version that work with Vista,
and that would be made available at their down load center?
It is the responsibillity of manufactures to create software that work with victa, Vista don't have to create drivers that get every option of any peripheral, but the manufacturers have to.
