What are you all doing this weekend besides celebrating Fathers Day!

I am going to see Frankie Beverly and Maze tonight under the stars! Girls night out!

Johnnie Gill and Envogue will also be performing!

Sunday, going to a Fathers Day BBQ!

YAYYYY! A weekend plans thread!!!

I'm gonna spend some time in my gardens. Sunday A grad party, bring a surprise hosta to Val since I'll be in the old hood for the grad party.

Hopefully enjoy some nice weather but it is soooo cold & windy I can't fathom that it could happen!

Friday – visit with a friend whose husband died a year ago. . . . they were FABULOUS together. I am so sad in my heart for her. She is adjusting, making life happen for her. I am proud of her.



Saturday – possibly attending an art fair, cleaning my house (yuk), doing BBQ, filling hummingbird feeder to entice hummer back!! Two weeks it has sat empty now. Think he’ll return?



Sunday – getting together with 92 year old (Loopsie does not qualify for my volunteer time yet) to Loopsie!

loops I just dragged out my hummer feeder the other day. I will clean it up and fill it today and pray. The orioles are a big no show so far!

let's see...i really don't have much of anything planned for once.

I'd like to clean my car inside and out...so i can put a For Sale sign on it and unload it.

I need to prep some financials for a Kappa Board meeting we'll be having in a few weeks.

other than that...i plan to drink beer and watch the flowers bloom.

I am spending the weekend getting ready for NEXT weekend!!


Have to get out all the camping gear and test it, make sure it is all in working order. Stock up on First Aid supplies, batteries, water, food.

We got a new tent the other night, and had a blast setting it up.





Babydaddy is going with us, so watching the child will be much easier times 2!


Packing, cleaning, shopping

I'm tenting next weekend too! somehow i think you'll be having more fun.

i'm participating in a memorial volleyball tournament for one of my kappa sisters that passed last year. I really SUCK at volleyball.

I love camping though....so i'm looking forward to that part.

Saturday morning you wake up and hear the nyiabingi drumming, you smell the sweet sent of herb..
You look out and see a virtual sea of tents and good people everywhere getting ready for a day of music and good vibes


It's been 2 years too long since I have done this!!

Good plan!I sunk a few bucks into my dodge so I will keep it another year. Cripes I'm afraid to buy anything big right now! My doors work and it is running great my only complaint is no A/C but I don't need that so much up here. If it's that hot I'll take my scooter!

I half killed myself but garden #2 is looking so nice! I hope I didn't kill all the baby poppies. The seed ones, they do not like getting disturbed! Ack, I need a shower, I feel wood ticks everywhere after getting a few!
