Help!!!
Me being the procrastintor that I am I somehow forgot to book my flight to Jamaica for December 26th. Now flights with only one stop are 850-900$ or are long flights on Air Jamaica. My dilemma, no air miles AJ. I So I've recounseled myself and now am thinking of flying from Fll to Ja using Aj and thus not lossing a lot of miles ( less than 1000) More drama unfolds. The only airline with reasonable nonstop flights from Buffalo is Southwest. Not the greatest FF plan but a possibility of a reward. They will not reveal their Nov-Jan prices until June 26th. Presently prices from Buffalo range about 245$ Am I being naive in thinking prices might not go up dramatically or that at least one nonstop flight will be available?
I would rather have only one stop, arrive in ja early and leave after 1pm. I'd like not to have an overnight stop but if i'm somewhere warm i wouldn't mind the delay so much. my return time is flexible, I could return anytime from 1/20-25. I could also layover a few days. I could also leave from Toronto nonstop, good departure and arrival time but would have to travel up the day before and 2 hour travel time coming back with another customs inspection and potential weather advisories.
I would prefer going south or east rather than west, which is where our bad weather usually comes from. Should I book now or wait for who knows what?
