I'm on my way too! (I wish!).

If you go to Alligator Pond...I suggest you make it an overnight, and take your time. Drive another half hour past Alligator Pond and spend a night relaxing in the quaint old Milk River Spa Hotel. You will never forget it. Trus me. Besides, then you could take your time while driving and visit Allen Bamboo Avenue, stop by Lovers leap and even Treasure beach! OH Oh Oh...and Gut River, you MUST stop at Gut River! Heck, you could even fit Mandeville in the mix and not be too hurried! Just one little overnight...

that is so why i look to you folks for inspiration. i have done milk river, mandeville, bamboo avenue, lovers' leap. gut river is a new one for me.

i thank all of you for your thoughts and suggestions. i really look forward to a true jamaican vacation which i have not had for many a year.

moi? excited? dare i say 10 days? did i mention 10 days?

i am so looking forward to a vacation of such i have not had for 2.5 years.

i also enjoy the idea of being a complete tourist.

i want to see those sunsets. i want to walk in the sand. i want to eat the food.

the good news is Mister Mister will be there for the first weekend and then going back to his job in kingston for a couple of days, returning thereafter.

what heaven --- i have the best package possible.

ah, Roots. i lived in the negril area for a year.

have not been back for 8 years.

i am so looking forward to simply being a tourist. i want lots of alone time - just enjoying all the beauty such a place can share with one.

and, the love in my life will also be sharing some time with me. it is the perfect balance.

i look forward to showing him the places i lived in. think it will give him a better idea of who i am as a person.

i am there to see if i can regain the feeling i first felt lo so many years ago.

i am certainly not into the &quot;scene&quot;.

anyhoos, i will think about an update after i return.
