I want to plan a Xmas and/or NewYear vacation in 2009!

I have finally convince my family to take a trip over the Christmas holiday (and possibly include New Years). I want to try and get a ballpark idea of how much $$$ this will cost me and everywhere I look it is "too far in advance".

Any suggestions?

check out www.usa3000.com and use the flexable dates at the top right after selecting<span style="font-style: italic"> Flights. </span>
I see you are in PA they are doing charters again this yr to Mobay. let us know

Thanks for the usa3000 info. I did go to the website but the flexible dates right now only go until June 2009. Looks like I need to be more patient for flights. You can book hotels well in advance though, right?

Where are you going? To Negril I hope. They usually have fireworks on the beach and it is breathtaking from up in the hills where Ted and I live. If you are coming to Negril, let's get together on your trip.

Will be in ochee dec.31 - Jan.7.. Flying US Air for 502$.. Cheapest flight I could get.. My agent wouldn't book me on AJ for the reasons of she was told they might go bankrupt by new years and don't want me stuck again.. Even though I dread US Air.. Staying at my normal spot..

Oh your talking Christmas 09! Thats too far out to get a good deal on the air...i think..hotels would take a reservation though.

One day I will make it to Negril, but for now.... I'm an OCHI girl. Especially if we make it for the holidays, the family would not be too happy if we spent it in Negril.

I guess I am planning too far in advance, so I will be patient!

oh well ... I think you WAY WAY too early to think about flight prices ... do you have any charters outta your area?

what airline do you usually fly with ??? get on their web sites and get their e-mail offers ... 'track' your destination prices ... be ready to &quot;pounce&quot; when something comes up ...

over the past few years - my Christmas flights have dropped down on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving one year ... and in October, etc. .... I have gotten great deals tracking the Charter Flights outta Minneapolis ~
