I liked the lobster at Erica's, and the price was right too. The last time I ate lobster at Cosmo's the bill for 2 people was high as giraffe snatch
There are many other options for lobster out there. Two of my Oct 07' travelmates liked the lobster at Chicken Lavish, I didn't taste it, so I can't comment on that one.
I've also had lobster at Sweet Spice, but it was average, nothing to rave about.

thanks much, Mokatee. i ate a lot at chicken lavish and never had a clue they had lobster. but, that was over a decade ago.

while i was looking forward to a good lobster dinner, it is not that important.

is rockhouse still a good place to go for a good dinner (aka, the man's bd)?

I had a plate like that in 2006 (last time there), so did the 100 or so friends that I had to watch eat lobster all week

That said, I know the price has gone up on those suckers ($2,000 at 3 Dives last I heard), so I get chicken or fish a lot more often. 3 Dives jerk chicken prices are in line with the street guys. Some things, like soup, are super cheap.

rockhouse food is nothing to write home about - not authentic - and the prices reflect entrees amounts in the US

try catcha falling star's food - same price, interesting combinations - i love the shrimp wrapped in plaintain

Rockhouse doesn't do a thing for me at their prices. Nice setting..that's the only draw for me.

I am excited to try Blue Cave's food now...that is new since I stayed there last.

right - we are never 'staying Guests' either ... but we use their bar and would certainly be served meals if that was our desire ....

I was VERY close to trying Seastar this time but next time I think Seastar will be my spot. Price is definitely right and location relative to Catcha is nice too. And they have scooters right there.

Speaking of, they are having a really great deal right now for off season - all inclusive for a week for $580pp/double occ ($780 single).

Check out Ted's mats at Rockhouse. They buy from him frequently.

Best lobster IMO is Chef Juniors about halfway down the cliff road, on other side of road from the sea. You have to really hunt for it the first time, but well worth it. He cooks to order too. Orbra likes him also.

Sips and Bites serves real authentic Jacan dishes , good prices and great serving sizes ... only drawback is they are Seven Day Adventistis and are closed Saturdays .. ph number is 957 0188 they are on the cliffs ..they were recommended to me by the staff od Catcha when I was craving yawd style Jacan dishes ..and I wasn't disappointed !!
