Condition of road from Ochi to Port Antonio?

We are driving from Montego Bay to Port Antonio next week, with an overnight stop in Orcabessa. Does anyone have any updated info on the condition of the A3 between Ochi and Port Antonio? I'd hate to get there and find out it's been closed for weeks!

Mi hear seh it decent up to Annotto Bay and they working on the rest of it. Allow some time, but you will reach no problem.

i drove the road in april and was under construction and pretty good at that time. i can only imagine it's more finished now.

Check before you head accross. Portland and St.Mary had a great deal of flooding. Port Maria is under mud again!
