I will be travelling from falmouth to treasure beach with a family.
I need to stock up on groceries and we eat a lot
where would be the most economical place to shop?
i have heard there is a big place in montego bay but would we pass there?or would it be better to shop in santa cruz at the market and shops?
Not sure which is most economical but in Montego Bay I usually go to Super Plus (at the Fairview Center, near Bogue), they have everything you could possibly need. In Negril there's Value Master (right off the roundabout) and Hi-Lo (a little further along, down the beach road on the left - prices may be a little higher but they have a bigger selection).
Crossroads is a fine small supermarket, but Supersave Plus is way cheaper on many items.
Falmouth to Treasure Beach is going to be pretty much a full day drive too, so be aware of that.
An hour to Mo Bay - shopping time and then 3.5 to 4 hours to treasure Beach depending on the day, time and weather.
Santa Cruz would not be on the way either.
On Barnett Street in Mo Bay... click on Magic's link!!
I have note been there since it was built - but it looks good... kind of like a big box store in America really!
