Time drags and drags, the trip seems so far away.....

Until you get into the week before and suddenly nothing is packed, nothing is bought, kids arrangements aren't finalized, work that must be completed isn't....

Thanks all. I feel a bit better today, finally started my &quot;pile&quot; of things...made a list for the store of a few items i need. Got a lot of work done, paid bills today, and am confident that tomorrow and Thursday I can finish off the rest before all the Halloween excitement (our town does it on the 30th) and Friday will fly.

I am off Saturday for a little over two weeks. My first trip traveling solo, though I will not be alone anywhere, I'm either meeting friends from the US or new friends from here (waving hi to the Lucija) or old friends from JA.

This is the first time I've been able to do what I want to do, and what I always want to do is MOVE...I get bored sitting on the beach, there is so much I want to see and do and this time I am doing some of it.

I am getting really excited

There hasn't been a trip report from me since April of 2006...that's 2.5 years isn't it? Feels like a long time.

Yes, for the first 2 nights I'll be in Duncans Bay, I am really looking forward to it. That upstairs couch with the pillows and the view is stuck in my head
