First time to JA in 2009

[Fingers]

doing sumfest and stopping for an extra week.

now heres my first question (no doubt more will appear SORRY!!)

ok single male travelling alone and am considering after doing sumfest in mo bay heading to kingston for a couple of nights- for asylum on tuesday night and weddy weddy on, naturally, wednesdays.

Now - I don't intend walking round with a big camera and a bad 'irie mon' t-shirt so how are both nights? safe? friendly? easy to get to from say altamont hotel?

any help is gratefully received. thanks in advance. also - travel from montego bay to kingston- I have been told of a bus that takes a few hours- so its that or a flight- any inside info on either would be great.

I've never been to Kingston so I can't help you there...perhaps someone who knows better will be along shortly to help...

The bus service you're thinking about is the Knutsford Express...if I were going from MoBay to Kingston, that's the way I would go...

first time over to JA- previous problems getting over have been girlfriends who have wanted to sit in an AI for 2 weeks/ didn't like reggae or wanted to go sandals. I am coming to Jamaica to enjoy Jamaica!!

Plus single so all good- this may get me slated but to me taking a girlfriend to Jamaica is like taking your own sand to the beach- pointless as the best are already there! sorry if that sounds cruel

dont know if you can do this same day ..
