Today I got LEI ed

Today my oldest and dearest friend on the job walked up hugged me and put a Lei around my neck. "You have been lei ed."

Seems these folks can keep a secret, They surprised me with my Retirement Party today.

Some folks thought today was my last day, but the coordinators informed them that they were not taking any chances on me sneaking out on them early so since everyone works on Thursdays they thought this was the best time for it.

They know me soooo well. I cried, we laughed, we hugged, we ate all day. Oh we also got the mail out. Just goes to show, neither rain, nor snow, nor hail, nor ice , nor Orbra's Retirement will keep us from our appointed rounds.

A new beginning was the theme. Quite appropriate, Very Appreciated. A very nice Send off.

I love these people and will truly miss them. My Postal Family and much Love.

Thank you Guys for allowing me to babble on about this upcoming event, but right now I am on a roller coaster ride, some days Sad, some days elated, but most days a likkle bit scared.

I feel like a bird, flying from the nest solo for the first time. But the exhilaration of that first flight is awesome.

I want to fly like an Eagle.
