Ochi...Need suggestions

I will be in Ochi February 5-9, before heading to Negril

I need some suggestions for things to do, places to hang and driver’s numbers too. I'm staying at the Grande.

I would like to do a day trip....off-the beaten path adventures, I'll consider all suggestions, throw them at me

I lost/threw away my digicel phone in August If I buy a phone in Ochi, will it cost people in Negril more credits to call my number since I didn't purchase the phone in Negril? I'm trying to decide if I should rent a phone while in Ochi and then purchase one in Negril (since most of the folks that call me are located in Negril)

it is the same rate island wide to call digicel to digicel, no matter where you bought your phone. have fun!
one place i love to visit while in ochi is harmony hall, just 5 minutes outside of ochi. there is a fabulous italian rest there for lunch and dinner and a great art gallery with artistes from the caribbean. its in a great house which its self is nice to visit. other then that a drive up to oracabessa is nice, just nice country side and friendly people. i'm sure you know about fern gully that's a nice drive as well. again, have a great time. BTW if you'll be driving down to negril, you'll be passing ja jewels place in duncans, thats a treat to pay a visit to.

Hey go to Mystic Mountain! Check this post

The cheapest phone will probably run you around $50US. However it's a good long term investment. There's nothing like hitting the ground running with your phone already working.

Cable and Worthless recently rebranded as Lime. They may have some specials going since they trying hard to rope in customers. They are an inferior company in my opinion though.

I'd go with Digicel. I've had them for about 8 years and love them. Excellent coverage, no dropped calls (anymore) and you can get credit everywhere.

Ochee's jerk pit which is next to the ruins restaraunt. Not crazy about the food at ruins, plus it is a buffett.
Evita's is awesome italian food but past my budget..


Tuesday is karaoke at oceans eleven!!
Weds is margaritaville free drinks until 1 I think!
Thursday is amnesia
Fridays is just cheers
Sat- ladies night at margaritaville
Sun. Beach party in Priory outside of ochie.

Try Mystic mountain, the falls, fern gully, nine mile which I haven't done yet..

There are like 3 digicell stores right on the main strip in ochee.. One of them is by John crows.. If you have anymore questions I will try to help you..

Your repsonses have realllly fueled my excitement even more. The last time I was in Ochi for longer than a day was on my first trip in 2005.

Lawd, I still have memories of my night at Jus cheers, I was summonsed to the dance floor by a 10 year old...well actually he summonsed me on behalf of someone else I had a great time and danced danced danced. Thank you luv
