...maybe it was just bad luck, but my husband and I ate at John Crows a couple weeks ago and neither one of us liked our food !?!

However, it is a great place to drink & people watch!

They change chefs often.....

The original chef..Marvin....could really really cook.

Then they had one not so good, then this Indian lady, so no telling who is in the kitchen now, I didn't eat there this trip. Just got my fav. drink couple of times, hung out, so I can't vouch for what is going on back in the kitchen.

I know the owner likes good food, and I always see him eat there with friends. I am sure he will get it back together.

Is this the chinese food place that is upstairs in a buidling???...I know that's a vague description, but Marilyn took me to a chinese food place that was really good and I remember it being upstairs with red decor (if memory serves me right). I was going to ask for the name of the place then I saw you mention Honk Kong. Thanks

Yes love, that is it. It is directly across the street from Gem Palace, and more or less next door to Mama Marley's to give you a point of reference.

Might I suggest the shrimp egg foo young which is the best in the world and well worth a 3 hour flight.
