Air Jamaica announces the discontinuation of service from Atlanta on February 23, 2009 and from Los Angeles and Miami on February 25, 2009. We regret that this decision was necessary and understand the inconvenience to our passengers traveling to and from these cities.

Never did one night, but have done a weekend. But only did that since living in FLA.

Yikes This will definitely impact my travels to Jamaica. We don't have many viable options for convenient travel without funky layovers coming from the West.
BUT I am sooooo fregggin happy they didn't discontinue service before my return flight home. Bandy, what are we gonna do

I've done a daytrip to JA before.
Leave out on the 7AM flight and reach back on the one that gets in at 935PM.
