Having cut its Miami route Air Jamaica <span style="font-weight: bold">has announced four daily flights to Fort Lauderdale, included in its new schedule effective February 26.</span>
Air Jamaica says that the new schedule will allow South Florida passengers to have the flexibility of early morning arrivals and late evening departures.
The new schedule retains the only daily non-stop flights between Jamaica and New York, with two flights from Kingston and one from Montego Bay, daily.
<span style="font-weight: bold">Air Jamaica’s new schedule has 218 weekly flights to 13 destinations, with service between Jamaica and Toronto, New York (JFK), Chicago (O’Hare), Baltimore, Philadelphia, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Curacao, Nassau, and Havana, as well as service between New York and Barbados and New York and Grenada.</span>
<span style="font-style: italic">Last week Air Jamaica announced that it would be cutting its service to the US cities of Miami, Florida; Los Angeles, California and Atlanta, Georgia as well as Caribbean neighbours the Cayman Islands. The airline also announced it would discontinue its service between Jamaica and Barbados and Jamaica and Grenada. </span>
