Hi everyone! One more month in Jamaica and I leave for what I call my maintenance trip - doctor, dentist, visit grandbabies.
They are really working in our neighborhood building homes. Several have crews working away every day. It's nice to see what their ideas are on homes. Everyone has a different one so far which makes for a very interesting neighborhood.
For us, the steel has been bought for the two gates and work will start soon on them. Then we are done for a while doing work to the home. Maybe in the late fall we'll do some more things. I want solar hot water for sure so will save while in America.
My granddaughter had to quit college and go to work. She got her old job back at a big supermarket chain. Problem is her college loan kicked in and she has to make payments. But she is such a great gal. She will be able to do this and probably save again for the next time she can go to college. Even though she is a knockout there is no boyfriend which I am happy about. I would like to see her finish college before the babies start.
Loops, the orchids are fantastic. I used to have some that I bought in Hawaii, but with moving around, I gave them to a nursery. I found them easy to care for too.Comment

Hi Honies I'm home! Hey Jamaica Miss, only one more month! Well, this trip home will go by much smoothr and faster than last year and we'll be bidding you farewll again before we know it!

I just came in for a second after filling doggie swimming pools. Gotta go make Val's bed up and put line dried sheets and bed spread on it for her and get back outside!

Hey ya'll it was a busy day for me! Went to a wedding this morning and it lasted long! She had a beautiful brunch. One of our docs at work. She looked so pretty. Slept the rest of the afternoon away & just got back from eating dinner. Life in the big city. lol.
Tomorrow will be Henry's 1 year anniversary with me! Him so sweet.
Ja Miss -- enjoy your last month. The time is gonna start getting hot there. You've got the best of both worlds.

Happy freezing sunday morning from the tundra where it's 30 degrees and about to snow. Accumulating stylee. Little drizzle a fall now. Yesterday was brutal and icy after the 77 degree Friday. 
We're keepin busy on the inside. Yesterday we went to Vals and grabbed a bunch of beautiful black ash tongue and groove wood that's she's had in her storage shed for over 20 years. It is making a beautiful backing for the soon to be kitchen dishes cupboard. It had wainscoting on it originally so this is very close to what the piece looked like a hundred and some years ago. It's looking beautiful and she is almost finished! Val is doin this one, there is no room for two people. My job was to sand all the boards and that job is finish.
Dude, quit sending me the snow nuh...
